Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Signavow (the "Service"), operated by Signavow Ltd (trading as Signavow), registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15209483), with registered address at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Signavow provides an electronic document signing platform. The Service enables users ("Operators") to upload documents, place signature fields, and send signing requests to recipients ("Signers"). Signers can review and electronically sign documents via a unique link.

3. Electronic signatures

Electronic signatures created through Signavow are intended to be legally binding under applicable law, including the Electronic Communications Act 2000 (UK), the eIDAS Regulation (EU), and the ESIGN Act (US). However, certain document types may require wet-ink signatures or advanced/qualified electronic signatures by law. It is the Operator's responsibility to ensure electronic signatures are appropriate for their use case.

4. User responsibilities

Operators are responsible for: ensuring they have the right to distribute the documents they upload; providing accurate recipient information; and complying with applicable laws regarding electronic signatures in their jurisdiction.

Signers are responsible for: reviewing documents carefully before signing; ensuring they are authorised to sign on behalf of any party they represent.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Report abuse to abuse@signavow.com.

6. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Documents and signatures are stored securely and retained in accordance with the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Signavow platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Signavow Ltd. You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading a document, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit it for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signavow Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
